Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in the St. Paul, MN location, supporting our Structural Heart medical device division. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the consolidation and reporting of results on a monthly basis, as well as for budget cycles, and for any ad hoc analysis requested from leadership. You will have an intimate understanding of the activity and variances being produced to be able to speak knowledgeably when answering questions from leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial models, gross margin, capital, exchange, and other facets of the operations P&L.

  • Participate in ad hoc analysis and reporting as required by finance management.

  • Provide routine reports to leadership.

  • Partner with supply chain to consolidate month-end analysis and commentary related to the inventory financial close cycle.

  • Execute annual goals and objectives as defined by the Finance team.

  • Prepare consolidated reporting, presentations, and analysis.

  • Comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

  • Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees and business customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.

  • 4+ years of experience performing financial and variance analysis, forecasting, planning, and/or financial modeling from a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Demonstrated experience working with financial system applications.

  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced level degree(s) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.

  • Medical device experience.

  • Previous experience working in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.

  • Working knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, Dodeca, and/or SAP.
