Job Summary

Duquesne Light Company, a leader in providing electric energy, seeks a highly skilled Senior Manager CIP Regulatory Compliance to oversee the company's compliance program for the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Reliability Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead oversight of the Company compliance program for NERC CIP Reliability Standards, including implementation and monitoring of compliance initiatives associated with new, revised, and existing CIP requirements.
  • Provide leadership and manage the corporate CIP Compliance team in their support of the Company CIP compliance processes, business units, and oversight responsibilities.
  • Investigate, document, and manage potential violations of compliance related to NERC's CIP Standards and ensure effective mitigation plans are put in place and completed on schedule.
  • Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer, Director, NERC Compliance, and business units to fully investigate and mitigate any discovered compliance issues.
  • Configure, implement, and manage a compliance management system to effectively track and document the Company's Internal Compliance Monitoring Program (ICMP).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline required.
  • At least ten (10) years of experience working with a regulated entity or regulatory organization required, electricity sector preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of experience managing personnel with responsibility for providing direction, development, and conducting performance assessments is required.
