Job Summary

TruFood Manufacturing is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance department, you will be responsible for maintaining specifications, packaging, and supplier approvals, as well as other tasks as required by our Quality Assurance leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and update Finished Goods Specifications for East Coast Customers' products
  • Complete packaging artwork approvals for primary and secondary packaging items for all East Coast Customers' products
  • Establish metrics and specifications within the Redzone software Quality Compliance module
  • Assist and support supplier approval process, including uploading and approving associated supplier documentation and risk assessments
  • Complete documentation and uploads for all East Coast Customer certifications and Identity Preserved products
  • Assist in managing uploads and changes in various compliance software modules
  • Assist in receiving procedures, ingredient sampling and retention, and Ingredient Certificate of Analysis approvals
  • Participate in internal audits with the broader internal auditing team
  • Assist in reviewing Customer Food Safety and Quality requirements to ensure Company program compliance

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a food manufacturing facility
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software
  • High attention to detail and time management
  • Good communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Works well with others and in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Flexibility with designated work schedule

  • Comply with all BRC/SQF, HACCP, GMP, and regulatory guidelines

  • Comply with all hygiene, environmental, health, and safety requirements as laid down in company policy and as trained
