Job Opportunity: Regional Sales Manager, Mountain Region

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our commercial HVAC, plumbing, and service markets in the Mountain region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing market presence, and shaping our market approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development Excellence
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to surpass revenue goals, showcasing the unique Armstrong Design Envelope Value Proposition.
    • Build and nurture strong relationships with representatives, consulting engineers, contractors, and end users, providing expert guidance throughout the product selection and project completion process.
    • Partner with representatives to increase product visibility and market presence.
    • Collaborate with consulting engineers to offer technical insights and recommendations tailored to client needs.
    • Support contractors from the specification phase through to installation and startup, ensuring seamless project delivery.
    • Engage directly with end users to tailor solutions that address their specific challenges.
    • Stay abreast of industry developments and competitor activities to drive informed strategic decisions.
  • Regional Leadership and Representation
    • Support and execute key vertical segment initiatives within your region.
    • Focus on growing the service network and increasing service revenue.
    • Engage effectively with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain positive relationships and resolve conflicts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, and leadership.
  • Additional qualifications such as PE, LEED/A/P certifications, or membership in trade organizations are advantageous.
  • Proficient in PC applications and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC chilled water systems and applications.
  • Passion for staying updated with industry innovations and technologies.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a knack for breaking down complex issues and providing clear, actionable solutions.
  • Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with a focus on achieving results.
  • Open and authentic communication skills with the ability to engage effectively in all situations.
  • Willingness to travel domestically (40-50%) and possess a valid passport.
