On-Site Canine Grooming Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic canine groomer to become a part of our team at Walks and Wags. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine love for animals and the ability to create a soothing environment for them. Your primary responsibilities will include bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs of various breeds and sizes. Additionally, you will ensure that all pets are returned to their owners in a clean, joyful, and well-groomed state.
Key Responsibilities
Work Monday through Friday to meet our clients' grooming needs. Approach each dog with kindness and patience. If a dog appears anxious, seek assistance and engage in enrichment activities to help them relax. If necessary, communicate with the owner to devise a safe and gentle grooming plan. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of your grooming tools, as we provide all necessary grooming products. A professional appearance is essential, and you will be responsible for tidying up between grooming sessions.
Qualifications
Completion of a grooming program at a recognized grooming school is required. Alternatively, candidates must have a minimum of three years of grooming experience.
