KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure site safety protocols are followed
  • Guarantee compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Maintain high-quality construction practices
  • Implement the company's quality control program
  • Supervise daily site operations
  • Facilitate daily briefings with the construction crew
  • Recruit, train, and oversee construction personnel
  • Adhere to construction drawings and approved plans
  • Utilize popular construction management software
  • Procure necessary tools, equipment, and materials
  • Assist in budget management and scheduling
  • Document daily activities and other essential reports
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant business codes and regulations
  • Uphold adherence to company policies and safety measures
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, electricians, and other specialists

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • Experience as a construction manager or superintendent is essential
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 5-10 years of experience in constructing prestressed concrete tanks or similar projects
