Position Overview:

We are currently seeking skilled Electrical Harness Specialists to join our team. This role is essential for those looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and evolving work setting.

The Electrical Harness Specialist will be responsible for the modification and repair of electrical wire harnesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modification and repair of wire bundles at partner locations, including:
  • Interpreting work orders, diagrams, form boards, and wire lists to ascertain necessary materials and assembly sequence.
  • Reworking connectors, back shells, wire terminations, splices, split rings, lugs, and other components integral to wire harnesses.
  • Wrapping and securing wires.
  • Routing wires appropriately.
  • Adjusting routing and breakouts as needed.
  • Conducting electrical tests.
  • Completing relevant documentation.
  • Complying with safety protocols and contributing to the enhancement of health, safety, and environmental initiatives.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain Operator Self Verification (OSV).
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is mandatory.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years of wiring experience preferred, with a combination of training and practical experience.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Basic capability to fulfill new hire training requirements.
  • Fundamental wiring knowledge.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team using interpersonal skills.

Responsibility Scope:

  • Works under close supervision to perform modifications and repairs of wire bundles at partner sites.
  • Tasks are closely monitored, following specific and detailed instructions.
