Servicing Specialist

The Servicing Specialist is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our certificate servicing activities. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer portfolios related to premium billing, payment processing, and certificate administration.
- Process premium payments daily and reconcile any discrepancies in customer portfolios.
- Handle internal and external customer reporting requests related to servicing activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to create and support organizational objectives.
- Recommend future enhancements to our systems in conjunction with the IT Department and Policy Servicing team.
- Process servicing activities related to premium payments in check or electronic forms.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with lenders and servicers.
- Interpret the Master Policy and explain its intent to lenders and employees.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum one year of experience in mortgage lending or servicing capacity.
- Experience in creating and maintaining successful relationships with internal and external customers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete work in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and use it appropriately.
- Exhibits sound judgment when making decisions and recommendations.
National MI offers a competitive salary range of $49,000 - $60,000/year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, life and disability insurance, 401(k), monthly allowance, 20 days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, and bonus and equity potential.
