Job Summary

The Servicing Specialist is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our certificate servicing activities. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage customer portfolios related to premium billing, payment processing, and certificate administration.
  • Process premium payments daily and reconcile any discrepancies in customer portfolios.
  • Handle internal and external customer reporting requests related to servicing activities.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to create and support organizational objectives.
  • Recommend future enhancements to our systems in conjunction with the IT Department and Policy Servicing team.
  • Process servicing activities related to premium payments in check or electronic forms.
  • Build and maintain successful relationships with lenders and servicers.
  • Interpret the Master Policy and explain its intent to lenders and employees.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum one year of experience in mortgage lending or servicing capacity.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining successful relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to complete work in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information and use it appropriately.
  • Exhibits sound judgment when making decisions and recommendations.
