Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Disability Services Coordinator to join our team at the Austin Independent School District. As a key member of our Special Education department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
  • Provide support and resources to students, families, and staff to promote inclusive and accessible learning environments.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, best practices, and regulations related to special education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with disabilities and their families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
