Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager/Lead Inspector to join our team at W3Global Inc. This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee the Quality department and perform quality inspections on all Incoming, outgoing, and in-process manufactured parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Inspection and Assurance
    • Interpret technical specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards
    • Conduct thorough inspections of complex machined parts to verify dimensions and tolerances
    • Measure products using precision equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
  • Leadership and Training
    • Lead by example and coach/train others to verify standard procedures and quality standards are met
    • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping
    • Review and verify product manufacturing and quality records to ensure completeness and acceptability
    • Input inspection results data into electronic databases
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Interface with machinists and other team members in a professional and respectful manner
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 8+ years' experience in inspection of precision machined parts
    • 8+ years' experience as a Lead/Management position within the Aerospace industry
  • Education
    • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Skills
    • Expert knowledge and application of geometric tolerancing
    • Expert knowledge and application of precision measuring equipment
    • Excellent organization skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Intermediate computer skills and competency with Microsoft computer applications
