Job Summary:

Auditor - Quality Assurance Specialist

AMPORTS is a leader in the global automotive service industry, with over 60 years of experience. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Auditor - Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality-related customer liaison duties and verify the implementation of solutions and/or corrective actions.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Verify the accuracy of quality reports, records, and corrective actions.
  • Chair meetings and events, arrange resources, and schedule training for personnel.
  • Work closely with quality product auditors, 2nd & 3rd party auditors.
  • Chart and graph audit results.
  • Unwrap bags on cars and drive different vehicles.
  • Verify kits competition.

  • Ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize competing responsibilities.
  • Punctual and dependable person.
  • Ability to lead a team.

Work Environment:

Well-lighted, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor office, production setting, outdoor/indoor shop environment, or enclosed vehicle with adequate ventilation and protection from extreme weather conditions.

Physical Demands:

Moderate physical activity performing strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative or production/technical nature. Manual dexterity is sufficient to reach and handle items.

Travel:

Minimal overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Computer Operations:

Basic personal computer skills.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

Must be able to obtain TWIC badge (transportation Working Identification Card).
