Your Responsibilities
- Take charge of all accounting functions, ensuring timely month-end and year-end financial reporting while adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory standards.
- Manage and implement revenue recognition protocols, including account reconciliations and manual journal entries.
- Lead the invoicing and approval process utilizing Chargebee, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new clients.
- Oversee accounts receivable and collections, maintaining open lines of communication with clients and the Customer Success team.
- Enhance revenue operations processes to accommodate the demands of expanding markets.
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends, identify improvement opportunities, and assess risks.
- Conduct comparative analyses on customer invoicing to support revenue growth initiatives driven by Customer Success.
- Maintain and update documentation for revenue operations processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), while fostering continuous improvement across workflows and measuring success through key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Supervise vendors responsible for tax preparation, including VAT, sales tax, and corporate tax.
- Oversee bookkeeping contractors to support the accounting function.

Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in full cycle GAAP.
- Significant proficiency with Quickbooks.
- Familiarity with SQL and the ability to query data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across departments.
- Capability to lead and manage finance-related projects, focusing on process improvement.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (such as Netsuite) and transitioning from legacy systems.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Looker Studio, Microsoft BI, Google Data Studio, or Tableau.
- Familiarity with the healthtech or B2B SaaS sectors.
- Previous experience leading teams of bookkeeping or accounting professionals.
