Key Responsibilities:- Client Communication and Relationship Management: Meet regularly with agents to stay up-to-date on industry standards, insurance products, current rates, coverages, insurance policies, and carriers. Assist clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the service team with understanding and addressing the newest rules and policy updates.
- Quote Creation and Policy Updates: Help create competitive quotes when it's time to issue renewals or make updates to a current policy.
- Client Support and Education: Provide clear answers to clients on any coverage or billing questions, including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes to ensure full understanding.
- Claims Processing and Communication: Facilitate communication with clients and claims adjusters to process all documentation reporting a claim on a current policy.
- Policy Updates and Tracking: Record any policy updates or changes on customer accounts by tracking them in our book of business and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage.
- Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Must have very strong follow-up, written, and verbal communication skills and problem-solving skills.
- Insurance License and Experience: Must have an active insurance license in their state or be willing to get licensed in 90 days. Insurance experience as an insurance agent or other position is preferred, but we will provide training as needed for the right fit and skillset.
- Education and Computer Skills: Associates or Bachelor's degree required, or commensurate insurance industry experience. Basic computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) are necessary.
