Overview: The Warehouse Processing Lead, under the direction of the Warehouse/Assistant Warehouse Manager, plays a crucial role in overseeing daily purchase order fulfillment, stock selection, and inventory management to meet Erik's quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping and Receiving:
    • Execute daily inbound receiving and order processing in accordance with established priority protocols.
    • Support Drivers with outgoing shipments.
    • Ensure inventory security measures are upheld.
    • Coordinate with the Purchasing Team for seamless operations.
    • Engage in shift briefings to align team objectives.
    • Complete and submit daily receiving documentation.
    • Assist in order selection and inventory replenishment.
    • Contribute to the unloading of incoming freight.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Guide the team to meet daily operational targets.
    • Provide performance updates to Management.
    • Collaborate with Management on special project planning.

Additional Duties:

  • Carry out tasks as assigned by Management.
  • Ensure equipment certifications are maintained.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in Distribution or Retail settings.
  • Skills:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Capacity to work collaboratively or independently.
    • Familiarity with RMS systems.
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
    • Flexibility in shift scheduling and commitment to responsibilities.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to remain mobile and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Capability to lift and transport heavy objects.
  • Exposure to various warehouse-related chemicals.
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting.
