Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in the Canton, New York area. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a supportive team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients in the local community.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor and report patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York State.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus.
  • Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
  • Knowledgeable about Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
