Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at CAI. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our insurance clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service through inbound and outbound calls, ensuring that clients receive timely and effective support.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, using open-ended questions to gather information and provide assistance as needed.
  • Initiate outreach efforts to conduct screening and surveys of clients who may benefit from our services.
  • Use various methods to seek additional contact information for clients, as needed, to engage them in our services.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with customer service software.
  • 1-3 years of customer service experience, with a strong background in insurance or healthcare.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume call center environment, handling 100 calls per day.
  • Strong active listening skills, with the ability to act sensitively towards diverse clients and situations.
  • Ability to successfully interact with external clients, peers, colleagues, and management team.
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must demonstrate sound judgment and discretion when approaching problems and making decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of screening and survey experience.
  • Familiarity with Delaware, local resources, and the DE Medicaid population.
  • Call center experience and previous medical experience preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates preferred.

The ideal candidate will be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
