- Communicate effectively with clients, using open-ended questions to gather information and provide assistance as needed.
- Initiate outreach efforts to conduct screening and surveys of clients who may benefit from our services.
- Use various methods to seek additional contact information for clients, as needed, to engage them in our services.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with customer service software.
- 1-3 years of customer service experience, with a strong background in insurance or healthcare.
- Ability to work in a high-volume call center environment, handling 100 calls per day.
- Strong active listening skills, with the ability to act sensitively towards diverse clients and situations.
- Ability to successfully interact with external clients, peers, colleagues, and management team.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must demonstrate sound judgment and discretion when approaching problems and making decisions.
- 1-3 years of screening and survey experience.
- Familiarity with Delaware, local resources, and the DE Medicaid population.
- Call center experience and previous medical experience preferred.
- Bilingual candidates preferred.
The ideal candidate will be able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards.
