POSITION SUMMARY

Pontera Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Director of Product Marketing to spearhead our Product Marketing division and oversee a dedicated team of Product Marketers. This role involves close collaboration with our sales and marketing teams, as well as our product and engineering divisions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the requirements and preferences of Financial Advisors operating within both RIA and Broker-Dealer frameworks. This position reports directly to the Chief Business Officer and offers a hybrid work arrangement.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Formulate and implement a robust product marketing strategy aimed at enhancing visibility and driving adoption of Pontera's offerings across diverse audiences; base decisions on comprehensive data analysis and revenue potential.
  • Develop expertise in our products, market landscape, and customer needs to effectively communicate product positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
  • Lead customer and market research initiatives; identify critical customer segments, create detailed personas, and serve as the voice of the customer.
  • Plan and execute successful product launches, ensuring alignment with target audiences, messaging, channel strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Enhance product adoption and customer growth by partnering with Marketing, Product, Sales, Client Experience, and analytics teams to influence product roadmaps and optimize sales outcomes.
  • Collaborate with analytics and product teams to identify opportunities for improving funnel efficiency.
  • Build and cultivate a high-performing Product Marketing team, offering coaching, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities.
  • Establish foundational processes and workflows for the Product Marketing team to function effectively and scale efficiently.


QUALIFICATIONS
  • 10-15 years of experience in product marketing, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in Wealth Management or Financial Services, with a focus on working with Financial Advisors (RIA model) is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in launching complex products or features in B2B and/or B2C settings, encompassing planning, execution, and post-launch analysis. Strong skills in strategic planning and prioritization of launches are required.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of retirement products and an understanding of 401(k)s and IRAs.
  • Preferred: Experience in both large and small organizations, capable of translating best practices into effective processes tailored to our unique environment.
  • Preferred: Background in a B2B SaaS context.
