Job Description:

As a Police Officer at the College of the Holy Cross, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our students, faculty, and staff. Your primary responsibilities will include enforcing laws and regulations, responding to emergencies, and providing support to the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce laws and regulations on campus
  • Respond to emergency calls and situations
  • Provide support to the community through positive engagement and customer service
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and secure environment
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in law enforcement, preferably in a college or university environment
  • Graduation from a full-time MPTC ROC academy or Bridge Academy
  • Valid SSPO warrant status
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a sworn officer in public safety or police agency
  • Valid Class D driver's license and certification in basic first aid and CPR
  • Ability to obtain a Massachusetts License to Carry Firearms - Class A Large Capacity permit
