Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive case management services to a caseload of participants facing significant employment challenges.
  • Leverage specialized knowledge to address unique issues faced by clients receiving long-term Cash Assistance, those with a history of sanctions, or individuals with prior convictions.
  • Assess and evaluate employment barriers to determine suitable program placements for clients.
  • Conduct job readiness assessments to evaluate client preparedness for employment.

Assist clients in identifying their needs for Back to Work services and help in developing tailored Employment Plans.

  • Guide applicants and participants to appropriate program components, ensuring their active engagement in beneficial services.
  • Oversee and coordinate all services provided to each participant, ensuring comprehensive support.
  • Connect clients with community resources, including long-term and emergency childcare services, providing follow-up to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Offer employment counseling and job leads to facilitate job placement and retention.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure stability in employment, coordinating retention activities as necessary.
  • Initiate non-compliance procedures and manage the process for participants who do not meet program requirements.
  • Regularly participate in workgroups and committees focused on assessing client needs, enhancing services, and implementing innovative strategies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Utilize the Self-Sufficiency Employment and Assessment Management System to monitor client progress, manage case documentation, and generate reports for ongoing evaluation and program improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required, along with 4+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

This position is hybrid and will necessitate a quiet workspace at home for remote work.

Home Office Requirements:

  • Reliable high-speed internet service.
  • Minimum download speeds of 20 Mbps (50 Mbps for shared connections).
  • Minimum upload speeds of 5 Mbps.

Pay Transparency:

Compensation at Maximus is determined by various factors, including job location, education, training, experience, and performance. Annual salary is one component of the total compensation package, which may also include short- and long-term incentives and program-specific awards.

Hourly Base Pay Range:

Minimum: $21.06

Maximum: $24.04
