Key Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Experience:

  • Preferred: 1 or more years of K-12 teaching experience.

Major Duties:

  1. Consult with leadership and hiring managers on job descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
  2. Collaborate with team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of hiring needs and available positions.
  3. Provide updates to Campus and District Leadership regarding candidate pools and sourcing initiatives.
  4. Continuously cultivate networks to build a robust database of potential candidates.
  5. Verify certification status of teacher applicants with relevant educational authorities.
  6. Manage job postings across various platforms, including online job boards and social media.
  7. Participate in recruitment events and job fairs at universities and other organizations.
  8. Conduct site visits to various campuses and district offices.
  9. Lead initiatives to develop and implement effective recruitment and retention strategies.
  10. Regularly follow up with hiring managers to assess the success of recruitment efforts.
  11. Ensure that staffing needs are met with a long-term perspective.

Records and Reporting:

  1. Maintain personnel files and ensure compliance with state and district regulations.
  2. Keep Human Resources records in accordance with Texas Education Agency standards and prepare necessary reports.
  3. Compile documentation for state and federal reporting requirements.

File Management:

  1. Develop and update online resources related to certification requirements and alternative certification routes.
  2. Inform Principals and HR staff about changes in certification standards and trends.
  3. Update vacancy listings and recruitment progress across the organization.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. This position may require work outside of standard business hours and travel for extended periods.
  2. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  3. Work is conducted entirely on-site.
