Position Summary
We are seeking experienced A&P Mechanics with a focus on Quality Assurance Inspection. As an FAA Repair Station, we maintain a fleet of training aircraft and are currently looking for qualified individuals to join our Quality Assurance Department as Training Supervisors and Aircraft Inspectors.

Key Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Inspector will be tasked with the following:

  • Conducting thorough inspections of completed aircraft work to ensure compliance with company quality standards and Federal Regulations.
  • Overseeing ongoing work, providing on-the-job training, and documenting training activities.
  • Inspecting structural, mechanical, and electronic components of aircraft, measuring wear, and determining airworthiness of parts.
  • Reporting to the Quality Assurance Supervisor and Chief Inspector regarding:
    • The quality of work performed by technicians and adherence to Repair Station Procedures.
    • Ensuring all maintenance forms and work orders are accurately completed by responsible personnel.
    • Validating accurate information in aircraft maintenance software and authorizing the return of aircraft to service.
    • Providing support and training to technicians to enhance the quality of ongoing work.
    • Ensuring that no unserviceable or unairworthy parts are installed in any released components.
    • Maintaining knowledge of relevant Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies.

Additional Responsibilities
Other duties may include:

  • Participating in Repair Station Training meetings and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Collaborating with Instructors and Trainees.
  • Traveling to support repair work at various locations.
  • Upholding ethical standards in all interactions with workers, customers, and vendors.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Licensed A&P Technician (IA certification is a plus).
  • Experience in General Aviation, including inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting.
  • Prior experience in a Commercial or Corporate Part 145 FAA Repair Station or MRO Quality Assurance role.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong safety focus.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the United States without restrictions.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check is required.

Training Provided
Training will encompass:

  • Repair Station Training and Inspector responsibilities.
  • Maintenance administration software.
  • Procedures for troubleshooting and communication skills.
