Position Overview

The Supply Chain Coordinator is tasked with managing the existing supply chain operations encompassing procurement, planning, and scheduling while also refining business processes for the ERP system related to demand forecasting. The Coordinator will create and sustain models for capacity, logistics, and facility planning. Additionally, the role involves formulating strategies to enhance efficiencies and achieve cost reductions through improved supply chain management. The Coordinator will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ERP System in the supply chain domain.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain Management:

Oversee MRO and Direct Material Planning and Procurement for the organization.

  • Manage production planning and scheduling activities.
  • Establish and maintain comprehensive supplier, purchasing, planning, and inventory control master data.

ERP System Implementation and Process Optimization:

  • Facilitate all aspects of ERP system implementation, including data development, process optimization, validation, and training initiatives.

Capacity Planning:

  • Develop and maintain a rolling five-year capacity plan/model for workforce and facility requirements.
  • Identify and propose system and process enhancements aimed at reducing supply chain and manufacturing expenses.

Make informed decisions that align with established GMP regulations and company protocols with minimal oversight.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in supply chain management.
  • Proficient in ERP/Inventory Management Software Systems and office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong capabilities in data management and development.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA regulations, as well as experience in a GMP environment, is advantageous.
  • APICS Certification or relevant coursework is a plus.
