Job Title: Ticketing & Fundraising Specialist

Legends is a leading sports and entertainment company that provides exceptional experiences for clients and partners. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Ticketing & Fundraising Specialist to join our team at the University of Maryland.

Job Summary:

The Ticketing & Fundraising Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue and hitting sales goals around season, group, premium ticket, donation, and hospitality packages for Maryland Athletics. This role requires a self-motivated and positive professional who can engage, service, and solicit existing donors and ticket holders, while identifying new prospective donors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer a full menu of seating opportunities for Maryland Football, Men's Basketball, and all other ticketed sports.
  • Coordinate and execute sales calls on all potential customers through prospecting, cold calling, and referrals from current customers.
  • Identify and manage a portfolio of new prospects and existing donors to provide excellent customer service and drive revenue through the sales of ticket and donation offerings.
  • Identify and evaluate potential donors; design and implement prospect cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to meet monthly and annual goals.
  • Use phone and in-person outreach to cultivate donor relationships, solicit support for university priorities, and steward generosity.
  • Effectively use Salesforce CRM to accurately record all client and prospect interactions.
  • Participate and contribute in weekly sales meetings and training.
  • Work in conjunction with Maryland Athletic Department team members to promote and generate sales on all events while providing a great fan experience.
  • Assist with any administrative ticketing tasks and special projects as assigned by the Director, Sales, Service, & Retention.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain a professional image and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with C-level clients.
