Job Summary:

The Leadless Clinical Specialist is a key role within Abbott, responsible for providing technical, clinical, and educational leadership to ensure the safe adoption and growth of Abbott's leadless technology.

This individual will work closely with internal and external customers to drive therapy adoption and procedural success, leveraging their deep knowledge of best-practices, clinical data, and comprehensive technical product expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary case support for initial leadless implants, using their expertise to ensure safe and effective procedures.
  • Partner with local sales teams to expand leadless therapy within their local accounts, transferring technical expertise to the commercial team.
  • Support national physician training programs, facilitating hands-on training and education for physicians.
  • Develop trusting relationships with physician implanters, based on demonstrated technical and clinical acumen.
  • Oversee local education and training activities, coordinating setup, content delivery, and facilitation of simulated procedures and instruction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of clinical medical device experience, ideally with CRM products.
  • Comprehensive ability to analyze and evaluate technologically complex devices.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others effectively.
  • High-level comfort in navigating the medical environment, including labs and hospital settings.
  • Proven success in leading and influencing customers, with ability to confidently provide guidance and course correction.
  • Expert verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of frequently used personal computer programs and applications.
