As a Senior Electrical Systems Reliability Engineer at Form Energy, you will play a critical role in improving the reliability and lifetime of our iron-air enclosures and deployed systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop test plans, analyze data, and perform failure analysis to ensure the reliability of electrical power systems.
- Collaborate with the Systems Engineering team to define critical design requirements for electrical power systems.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to evaluate failure mechanisms and their acceleration factors.
- Engage with external vendors to drive and monitor reliability and lifetime testing of electromechanical components.
- 5+ years of industry experience in electrical systems validation.
- Hands-on experience testing electrical systems and components, including PCBs, bus bars, terminals, connectors, and wiring harnesses.
- Strong understanding of circuit fundamentals, AC and DC power systems, and the thermal and mechanical implications of these circuits at high power and high voltage.
- Proven experience developing test plans, executing tests, and analyzing data to validate new system and component designs.
