Senior Reliability Engineer, Electrical Systems

Form Energy is a pioneering energy technology and manufacturing company that aims to deliver a clean energy future. We are seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer, Electrical Systems to improve the reliability and lifetime of our iron-air enclosures and deployed systems.
This role will require hands-on work in the lab and cross-functional collaboration to evaluate, analyze, and propose design-for-reliability solutions to new and poorly understood problems and gain confidence in our product lifetime.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Reliability engineering or related field, with 5+ years of industry experience. They will have hands-on experience testing electrical systems and components, including experience with electronics test equipment and ability to write commands and test scripts.
The Senior Reliability Engineer, Electrical Systems will serve as a subject matter expert on design for reliability best practices for critical design challenges relating to electrical systems and their subcomponents. They will closely partner with design owners to de-risk and down-select next-iteration enclosure and system design concepts and translate high-level product requirements into functional reliability and lifetime requirements for components and subsystems.
The successful candidate will have strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills within a group of peers and the broader organization, including remote team members. They will have hands-on experience with electrical power systems, including high voltage (>400 V) or high power (>10 kW) is preferred.
