Senior Reliability Engineer, Electrical Systems Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and a passion for designing and testing electrical systems that are reliable, efficient, and safe. As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with our Systems Engineering team to develop test plans, analyze data, and define critical design requirements for electrical power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans to evaluate the reliability and lifetime of electrical systems and components
  • Analyze data and perform failure analysis to identify root causes of failures and develop corrective actions
  • Collaborate with design owners to de-risk and down-select next-iteration enclosure and system design concepts
  • Engage with external vendors to drive and monitor reliability and lifetime testing of electromechanical components

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Hands-on experience testing electrical systems and components, including experience with electronics test equipment and ability to write commands and test scripts
  • Familiarity with developing accelerated lifetime tests to assess component reliability across a range of operating conditions
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills within a group of peers and the broader organization
