Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Administration Supervisor/Coordinator Leader to join our team at Norfolk State University. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for supporting the university's mission by applying technical knowledge of specific programs associated with procurement applications.

About the Role

This is a full-time salaried position that requires experience in handling multiple tasks and prioritizing accordingly. You will work independently and communicate in a highly professional manner, both verbally and in writing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the department's office administrative management and process routine procurements that do not normally require competition.
  • Work with the Director on program assessments and eVA Lead responsible for the University's day-to-day eVA functions.
  • Respond to basic inquiries from university staff and provide advice/consultation in accordance with state procurement law, University procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Significant knowledge and experience with spreadsheets and database software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in the use of standard office equipment including personal computers.
  • Experience improving business processes.
Working Conditions

This position requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organizational and time management skills.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $41,655.00 - $52,500 per year, based on location and experience.
