Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Technician to join our team in the Clinical and Acute division. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our satellite psychiatrist office, arranging appointments, verifying information, and handling billing and reimbursement. You will also maintain priority appointments for other programs and assist hospitals with making appointments for established customers.

Essential Functions
  • Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including appointment scheduling and communication with staff.
  • Provide support to other programs with priority appointments and assist hospitals with making appointments.
  • Run insurance verification and understand EOBs and denials.
  • Establish and maintain logs, records transactions, and post entries into accounting systems.
  • Research concerns and report discrepancies to supervisor, prepare payment vouchers, and process invoices.
  • Make weekly deposits and provide correspondence to finance department.
  • Assist staff with problem-solving issues related to office equipment.
  • Serve as liaison by partnering with other departments and outside vendors.
  • Undertake responsibility for special assignments and projects.
  • Organize, maintain, and adjust complex file systems.
  • Receive, sort, date-stamp, and distribute mail and other documents.
  • Compose and send correspondence, form letters, and reports on general matters.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with two years of clerical experience and knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature obtained through advanced study or training past high school equivalency. A valid driver's license may be required depending on assignment. This position is eligible for a one-time $5,000 signing bonus for new hires.
