Position Overview:
A prominent consulting firm is in search of a seasoned NetSuite Solutions Architect. This role is pivotal in driving the implementation and enhancement of system processes and infrastructure for diverse clients. The ideal candidate will utilize robust solution architecture and analytical skills, alongside extensive industry knowledge of best practices, to align applications with the specific business requirements of clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitates comprehensive customer discovery sessions, including necessary re-engineering of business processes.
  • Converts client requirements into effective NetSuite architecture.
  • Conducts iterative configuration and training sessions with clients, covering the full spectrum of NetSuite functionalities.
  • Acts as a liaison between clients and the development team to ensure customizations align with business expectations.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite’s functional capabilities and custom solutions that enhance its native features.
  • Leads internal knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster cross-education among team members.
  • Engages in technical analysis and solution design for complex customizations and third-party integrations.
  • Adheres to and suggests improvements to internal methodologies and processes.
  • Contributes to the documentation of best practices for solution development and deployment.
  • Establishes a trusted advisor relationship during pre-sales meetings and product demonstrations, assisting in the estimation of implementation efforts for new projects.
  • Mentors junior solution architects.
  • As a recognized authority, the architect guides the consulting team in project delivery and serves as a trusted advisor throughout project execution.
  • Participates in client sessions to gather business and functional requirements, identifies gaps, and proposes solutions, recommending leading NetSuite practices and necessary business process adjustments.
  • Prepares and presents comprehensive solution designs for client approval, potentially guiding senior consultants in the development of these designs.
  • Collaborates closely with project managers to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • Delegates tasks appropriately and provides mentorship to other Solutions Architects.
  • Responsible for ensuring overall client satisfaction and achieving project profitability targets.
  • Serves as an escalation point for client project sponsors.
Qualifications:
  • Over 10 years of experience in ERP and/or CRM consulting within the Small and Medium Business sector.
  • Strong financial acumen is essential; a former CPA is advantageous.
  • Proficient in engaging with C-level executives.
  • Demonstrates expertise in NetSuite and associated tools and systems.
  • Experienced in solution design for NetSuite and pre-sales engagements.
  • Proven track record of customer success across high-tech, consumer products, manufacturing, and service industries.
  • Prior consulting experience with NetSuite is required.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working remotely.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Open Air is a plus.
