Copilot Careers is seeking a dedicated and compassionate substitute paraeducator to join our team in Oregon.

About the Role:

As a substitute paraeducator, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide additional support to students with special needs, promoting their academic and personal growth.

Your responsibilities will include providing instructional reinforcement, assisting with classroom management, and supervising students in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals
  • Assist the teacher with lesson planning, preparation, and implementation
  • Supervise students during activities, such as recess, lunch, and special events
  • Attend to students' physical, emotional, and academic needs
  • Support students with special needs by following provisions specified in their IEPs/504 Plans
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing)

Competitive hourly rate: $13.50
