Job Summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide direct and indirect services to students in a School District in Washington, OR. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Special Education and be able to provide consultation and support to staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify each student's specific strengths and challenges related to fine and gross motor development.
  • Create individualized motor development plans for students based on assessment results.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group interventions to improve fine and gross motor skills.
  • Develop and implement sensory integration strategies for students with sensory needs.
  • Support students with orthopedic needs in collaboration with occupational therapists.
  • Complete all essential paperwork to maintain strict adherence to District, State, and Federal regulations.
  • Attend mandatory Special Education meetings, including IEP, evaluation, and post-evaluation meetings.
  • Participate in staff development training sessions, including in-service training for teachers and school personnel.
Requirements
  • Licensed by The State Of Oregon.
  • Biennial Licensure requirements by the Oregon Board of Physical Therapy (OBPT).
  • Experience working in Special Education.
  • Experience in completing required special education paperwork.
