Position Overview

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a crucial role in providing essential support to patients and healthcare teams. This position encompasses the responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) while also integrating the duties of a Health Unit Coordinator or Monitor Technician as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Health Unit Coordinator training program or equivalent experience.
  • Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant training course.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Valid Nurse Aide certification from the appropriate state department upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and/or Health Unit Coordinator.
