About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Technician to join our team at Covenant Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed nurses in providing basic patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Conduct patient assessments, document patient information, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
  • Participate in patient education and support, promoting health and wellness through education and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
  • A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment or
  • A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation. After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
