We are in search of a committed Registered Nurse to become a part of our team at Lubbock Heart & Surgical Hospital. As a Resource Nurse, you will be integral in delivering outstanding care to our patients.

Position Overview:
  • Accountable for the daily clinical functions within a designated area
  • Engages in direct patient care approximately 75% of the time, with the remaining 25% dedicated to administrative responsibilities
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues to optimize resource sharing and facilitate staff training
  • Assumes a leadership position during shifts
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing institution
  • At least 3 years of clinical experience in a critical or acute care environment, with supervisory experience preferred
  • Possession of a Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively engages in providing patient care and associated services
  • Oversees patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Guides patients and their families in post-discharge care techniques
Team Responsibilities:
  • Delegates responsibilities to non-licensed personnel as appropriate
  • Participates in peer evaluations and the professional growth of team members
