Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute various programs and social services for both children and adults, leveraging local community resources and partnerships.
  • Oversee educational initiatives such as Out-of-School Time and GED Preparation to support residents' academic success.
  • Implement job readiness workshops, financial literacy sessions, and food assistance programs to encourage economic independence.
  • Organize health and wellness activities aimed at improving both physical and mental health among residents.
  • Facilitate community engagement events and neighborhood watch programs to cultivate safe and resilient neighborhoods.
  • Assess community needs and develop additional services accordingly.
  • Plan and deliver educational content for various age groups, utilizing community resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with residents to set service goals and provide ongoing support to track their progress.
  • Maintain comprehensive resource files for referrals to ensure residents receive necessary services, including follow-up support.
  • Utilize a data management system for tracking case management progress and program outcomes.
  • Prepare and distribute a monthly community newsletter and calendar of events.
  • Offer guidance to resident associations and assist in limited fundraising efforts through grants and partnerships.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to property management teams, ensuring residents adhere to lease agreements.
  • Engage with volunteers and community partners to enhance program offerings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Applications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project planning and organizational abilities.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of three to five years of experience in social service delivery is required.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
