Job Title: Health Care Assistant

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is a community-based organization committed to providing quality, comprehensive health services to diverse communities. We are seeking a Health Care Assistant to join our team at our Everett Medical Clinic.

Job Summary:

The Health Care Assistant will support the care team to ensure patients receive timely, courteous, and professional primary care services. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other members of the care team to ensure improved health outcomes and smooth patient flow throughout the care process.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with provider referrals and scheduling appointments
  • Receive, document, and return patient messages
  • Coordinate needed services both internally and externally
  • Manage quality gap reports and contact patients as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as QI audits and participation in organizational committees
Requirements:
  • High school graduation or higher
  • Previous experience in Family Medicine is preferred
  • Must adhere to the Sea Mar Employee Health Screening Policy
  • May be asked to travel to other Sea Mar sites due to staffing and patient needs
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
