Head of Insider Risk Management

We are Rokt, a leading ecommerce company, and we're looking for a skilled professional to join our team as the Head of Insider Risk. Our mission is to unlock value in ecommerce and beyond, and we need someone who can help us protect our business from internal threats.
About the RoleThis is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of risk assessment and mitigation strategies. As the Head of Insider Risk, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks posed by employees, contractors, and others with access to sensitive information.
You will develop and implement strategies to prevent and respond to insider threats, such as unauthorized data access or sabotage. You will also work closely with our security and compliance teams to ensure that our risk management framework is robust and effective.
Key Responsibilities- Define the scope of the insider risk program and develop its framework
- Conduct risk assessments of our existing environment and opportunities to prevent data exfiltration
- Secure formal approval for governance structure and support from executives and key stakeholders
- Create procedures for detecting potential insider threats, including monitoring and reporting mechanisms
- Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of the insider risk program
- Design and implement training programs for employees, focusing on recognizing and reporting potential insider threats
We're looking for someone with 7+ years of experience in complex investigations, proficient in utilizing threat intelligence to analyze data points and drive investigative efforts. You should also have solid experience using various technologies that leverage data loss prevention and user entity behavior analytics (UEBA).
You will be able to work in fast-paced teams and work with various stakeholders (HR, Privacy, Legal) inside the company. Constantly looking for new ways to improve and accelerate detection of potential insider risk is a must.
