Subcontract Field Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontract Field Representative to join our team at Idaho National Laboratory. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of maintenance and service contract projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement technical processes for assigned programs, ensuring consistent compliance with technical requirements and laboratory procedures.
- Manage subcontracts, coordinate with contract specialists, and review invoices for accuracy.
- Provide technical direction to service subcontract personnel, support ongoing maintenance activities, and communicate with support personnel to resolve issues.
- Ensure consistent implementation of Integrated Safety Management System and Quality requirements, training and qualifying the workforce as needed.
- Implement Standard Work Process Procedures for Contract Administration, completing daily activities, work planning, and reviewing subcontract activities.
- Participate in plan-of-the-day meetings, address hazardous work activities, and communicate with Operations to initiate/coordinate safe work permits, outage requests, and excavation permits.
- Develop Statements of Work (SOW), provide oversight of assigned subcontract activities, and use subcontract activities and operations knowledge of project and contract documents.
- Perform safety surveillance to ensure activities performed by subcontractors follow Subcontractors Requirements Manual, Work Orders, Radiological Health Physics, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Requirements.
- Conduct basic/routine subcontract progress meetings with subcontractors, addressing project safety, security, quality, status, design problems, and other project-related matters.
- Level 1: Bachelor's and 0 years of experience or a High School diploma and 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Level 2: Bachelor's and 2 years of experience, a Master's and 0 years of experience, or a High School diploma and 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy 'L' clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
