Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and service-oriented Automotive Component Advisor who has a passion for automotive repairs and projects. As a parts advisor, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent experience by helping identify any repair parts they may need. Starting wage based on previous experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Process customer orders and recommend additional related repair items
  • Assist customers with identifying the parts they may need
  • Maintain records of time, expenses, and materials
  • Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory and maintenance
  • Collect payments by cash and credit card
  • Develop and maintain solid product knowledge to best help customers
  • Answer phones and assist customers with questions
  • Process incoming paperwork, make photocopies, and file paperwork
Qualifications:
  • Great customer service skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of computer programs
  • Understanding of basic automotive components and systems
  • Previous parts advisor experience (2yrs preferred)
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced work environment
