Job Summary:

The Peer Learning Strategist will work closely with course coordinators to facilitate Guided Learning Sessions (GLS) and support students in developing effective study habits and learning strategies. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student success and contribute to the growth and development of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate weekly Guided Learning Sessions (GLS) with students to support their academic success
  • Meet with course coordinators to discuss course expectations and provide feedback on student progress
  • Engage in regular training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Support faculty with grading and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled at Florida Polytechnic University with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
Compensation:

The Peer Learning Strategist will be compensated at a rate of $13.15 per hour, with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
