Job Overview

Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

This role is situated within a production environment focused on the creation of plastic containers. We are in search of a proficient Industrial Maintenance Technician with a minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing context.

The selected candidate will undergo initial training during daytime hours before transitioning to a consistent night schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and water systems while minimizing disruptions to production.
  • Conducting preventative maintenance on industrial-grade machinery.
  • Participating in daily briefings with the shift supervisor to address concerns or modifications, along with submitting follow-up reports on outstanding issues.
  • Focusing on maintaining optimal machine performance during night shifts, as major repairs are generally not conducted during these hours.
  • Creating work orders, overseeing inventory, and documenting material and tool usage.
Essential Skills
  • Preferred Maintenance Mechanic II certification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in electrical systems (420/480V) for industrial machinery.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems (pressurized fluids such as oil or air).
  • Experience troubleshooting industrial equipment.
  • Capable of rebuilding pneumatic components.
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.

Job Type
  • This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 months.
Work Environment

This position is fully on-site and located within a large facility that encompasses multiple production and warehouse departments. The facility adheres to strict cleanliness standards due to GMP regulations, ensuring that all products are prepared for filling.

Shifts are structured as 12-hour rotations on a 2,2,3 schedule, with training occurring on an 8-hour daytime shift for the initial two months before transitioning to the regular night shift.
