Position Overview:

We are in search of a proficient QA Automation Specialist to enhance our quality assurance efforts. The successful candidate will be tasked with the design, development, and execution of automated testing scripts, ensuring our software products meet the highest quality standards. Collaboration with various teams will be essential to identify testing requirements, streamline testing processes, and foster ongoing improvements in our QA methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, execute, and sustain automated test scripts for diverse applications including web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
  • Work alongside developers, product managers, and fellow QA professionals to pinpoint testing scenarios and guarantee comprehensive test coverage.
  • Evaluate test outcomes, detect defects, and collaborate with development teams to address issues.
  • Establish and oversee test automation frameworks and tools.
  • Integrate automated testing within the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Engage in code evaluations and provide insights on testability and quality assurance.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of test cases, scripts, and results.
  • Continuously explore and propose enhancements to testing processes and tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to test automation.
  • Extensive experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in programming languages including Java, Python, or C#.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong grasp of software development life cycles (SDLC) and Agile practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Understanding of SQL and experience in database testing.
  • Experience in testing APIs and web services using tools like Postman or SOAPUI.
  • ISTQB certification or other relevant credentials.
