Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Representative to join our team at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa. As a Guest Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Welcome and Escort: Greet and welcome guests to the resort in a friendly and professional manner, escorting them to their accommodations and providing information about the resort's amenities and services.
  • Room Familiarization: Ensure that guests are familiar with the features of their room and can operate them effectively.
  • Service Delivery: Deliver 4-Star/4-Diamond service to all guests arriving at the resort, obtaining their luggage and escorting them to their room, using a luggage cart when necessary.
  • Service Recovery: Respond to guest concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with guests, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum 2 years of hotel/resort experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, both in person and on the telephone, computer skills, and ability to act as a sales representative and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently, and ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to independently problem-solve challenging situations and carry out instructions and make sound judgments in a variety of situations.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced work environment with moderate to loud noise levels and a smoking environment.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
  • Position may require overtime.
