The Executive Sous Chef is a key member of the ClubCorp culinary team, responsible for overseeing the daily kitchen operations of our esteemed golf clubs and resorts. As a strategic business leader, you will be expected to maintain the highest standards of excellence while promoting a culture of inclusivity and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement culinary strategies that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead a high-performing culinary team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure exceptional food quality and presentation.
  • Manage financial cost controls, inventory, and supply chain logistics to optimize culinary operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, sourcing the freshest seasonal products to elevate the culinary experience.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by enforcing sanitation standards and procedures, adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Recruit, select, and develop talent, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Executive Sous Chef in a golf club, resort, hotel, or restaurant setting.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Food Safety certifications.
  • Effective leadership, communication, and training skills.
  • Knowledge of special diets (preferred).
  • Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office products, and social media platforms.
  • Experience with private events, banquets, and à la carte services.
