Job Summary:
The Event Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of events held within the Club, including corporate events, social functions, weddings, and other market segments.
The ideal candidate will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and build strong relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and execute a definitive sales strategy to meet and exceed departmental revenue goals consistently.
- Sell all event functions, including meeting with clients to determine needs and exceeding their expectations through detailed communication.
- Network inside and outside the Club to obtain leads and build relationships with new and existing clients.
- Work with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director to establish profitable and competitive event menus that meet clients' needs.
- Partner with the Membership Department to promote additional private events, business opportunities, and prospective members.
- Achieve and maintain mandated company sales standards.
About You:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a proven track record of sales performance and a solid understanding of prospecting programs and event revenue generation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability in leadership, communication, and negotiating skills, as well as a high energy and outgoing personality.
Creativity, attention to detail, strong organizational and time management skills are also essential for this role.
A strong technical literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and Banquet Event Order software, is required.
