Full Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled line chef to prepare dishes according to the precise specifications of our head chef and to organize workstations for the menu offerings. The responsibilities of the line chef will include supporting the executive and sous chefs with their daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Organize and stock workstations with all essential supplies.
  • Prepare ingredients for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meats, or crafting sauces).
  • Cook menu items collaboratively with the kitchen team.
  • Follow and report to the executive or sous chef's directives.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the workstation and manage leftover food.
  • Accurately manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality food service.
  • Adhere to nutrition and sanitation standards and safety protocols.
  • Foster a positive and professional relationship with colleagues and patrons.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated cooking experience, including roles as a line chef, restaurant cook, or prep cook.
  • Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to execute tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices.
