Job Title: Executive Line Cook
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Line Cook to join our team at S&B's Burger Joint.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and stock kitchen stations with all necessary supplies and ingredients.
- Prepare high-quality food for service, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, ensuring timely and simultaneous delivery of dishes.
- Follow the executive or sous chef's instructions and take direction as needed.
- Clean up kitchen stations and manage leftover food, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring that supplies are stocked and available as needed.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations, as well as safety standards, to maintain a clean and healthy kitchen environment.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, working effectively with coworkers and customers to provide exceptional service.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a line cook, restaurant cook, or prep cook, with a strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Excellent accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and service.
