Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with patients and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain PTCB certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in using pharmacy systems and software.
