Job Summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a highly motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team in a company-owned retail contract pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities that need it most.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop close relationships with patients in the communities we serve
  • Assist pharmacists in accurately preparing and delivering prescription medication
  • Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Organize medications for pharmacist to dispense by profiling prescriptions, preparing labels, and calculating quantities
  • Ensure medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent, preferred
  • State Pharmacy Technician license or national pharmacy technician registration/license required
  • Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician or in healthcare is highly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Flexibility to work various shifts is preferred
  • Comfortable performing repetitive motions/tasks is required
  • Demonstrated ability to use technology such as computers, smart phones, and tablets
  • PTCB Certification or ability to get certified within 180 days of employment
  • 340B experience preferred
  • Bilingual - Must be able to read, write, and speak English and Spanish
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate: $22.50 - $32.19 per hour
  • Paid time off in compliance with applicable laws
